-Just back from Centek Electronics with a clean bill of health.
-Cleaned inside and out. New belt and clock type timer counter lamps just installed. The VU meter has only one lamp in the middle that lights up both meters which is not a good design because they light up both meters but not even. Left side looks more bright because of the lamp in timer/counter.
-The faceplate and rotating knobs have been washed.
-All moving gears including the
program/track selector mechanism have been re-lubed.
-The flywheel and motor pulley have been cleaned from old melted belts. Motor shaft has been re-lubed.
-Very quiet operation. Clean sound on both channels
-Recording test was not done.
-Very good to excellent condition. May not be mint or near mint but when it comes to functions-Its a 10 out of 10
-Few light marks here and there and some lettering segments rubbed but nothing major. Pictured to avoid any post-sale disappointments but what we can tell you that the overall cosmetics and performance would outweigh any minor imperfections-you bet…
